GREAT EXUMA, Bahamas - Selected local artisans from The Bahamas will be making a substantial contribution to the interiors at Emerald Bay with a number of original pieces being incorporated into the interior design of the Four Seasons Great Exuma at Emerald Bay. Developed and coordinated by Avery Brooks & Associates, of Las Vegas, Nevada, the design scheme calls for Bahamian art being positioned in all of the major interior spaces of the property as well as in the exclusive, two-bedroom condominiums and the resort’s Royal Suite.

GREAT EXUMA, The Bahamas - Scheduled to open in early fall, the Greg Norman designed golf course at Emerald Bay is setting a new standard in The Bahamas with an innovative turf technology that permits salt water to be used for course irrigation. The course features two different types of seashore paspalum, a strain of grass developed by noted University of Georgia agronomist Dr. R.R. “Ronny” Duncan. Seaisle 1 has been planted on the fairways and tees, and Seaisle 2000 is being grown on the greens.

GREAT EXUMA, Bahamas - Homeowners and guests at the new Emerald Bay Resort, as well as local residents of Exuma will benefit from a state-of-the-art, reverse osmosis water treatment plant, which is being installed by the project’s developer, EBR Holding, Ltd. “With fresh water at a premium throughout The Bahamas, we realized that anything we could do to limit or eliminate our having to call upon the community’s current resources was a good investment for everyone,” says Kevin Clemente, president and CEO of EBR Holding.

GREAT EXUMA, Bahamas - With approximately 2,500 containers of materials and machinery scheduled to arrive over the next ten months for the construction of the Four Seasons Resort at Emerald Bay, there was some concern about the inevitable increase in traffic and the toll on Queens Highway, the one road between George Town and the Emerald Bay construction site.
